Successful completion of this online course earns candidates an IPAF certificate. Additionally, individuals holding a valid Powered Access Licence (PAL) for operating equipment can have the MEWPs for Managers (MM) category added to their PAL Card.
Legally you can use a MEWP without IPAF training however it is not recommended. IPAF training provides a user with all the information you need to stay safe while operating a powered access machine.
An IPAF MEWPs for Managers Certificate is valid for 5 years at which it will then need to be renewed.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) should be inspected, maintained, and examined at least every 6 months.
IPAF training teaches operators how to prepare and safely operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). A MEWP refers to a cherry picker, aerial lift, and scissor lift.
MEWPs for managers is aimed for anyone who plans, supervises, or manages working at heigh with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). The training teaches an operator how to prepare and safely operate various types of MEWPs, also referred to as cherry pickers, aerial lifts, or scissor lifts.

This course is an online e-learning course which you can complete in the comfort of your own office/home. This removes the need to physically attend one of our training centres saving you valuable time. You will be emailed a login certificate within 1 day of purchase. The login will be valid for up to 12 months.
CERTIFICATION – Please note that all IPAF cards are issued via an app and called EPAL, if you require a hard copy then an additional £10 will be charged on day of training.
REQUIREMENTS
You will need access to either a computer with webcam or a tablet device with a camera to be able to complete the course. The camera is used by the facial recognition software.
